A resident of Maui for 18 years, Greg weaves a tapestry of Polynesian culture mixed with building elements worldwide. Looking to the future, we are expanding our territory to include many locations on Maui and Lanai.
Brown Development has developed a large in-house staff and great relationships with quality sub-contractors and major material suppliers. These valued relationships allow us to provide our Buyers with the best materials available and insure that each home is built with integrity. GREG BROWN, OWNER
Greg Brown has been involved in business on Maui and Lanai for over 18 years and has a genuine passion for the real estate and building business. He has owned several businesses prior to entering the construction arena seven years ago on the islands, and has proven to be successful in his business practices. He has pursued and obtained licensing as Broker, General Contractor, Captain. Greg is committed to providing his clients with superior quality and service in every way possible.
John Hassett, General Partner
When Greg was looking for the best guy in the building business, he struck gold when he joined forces with John Hassett. John has twenty years of previous construction experience in Southern California and on the island of Kauai. Johns understanding of building more than ensures that each home will be built with precision and the utmost care. He sees that every home has the structural integrity required to last a lifetime. John has built hundreds of custom homes individually valued as high as $15,000,000.00
Marla Hunter, Project Coordinator
Marla coordinates our projects while keeping us all organized and efficient. With a background in finance, she works with our team and buyers to assure they have the home of their dreams. Marla has a strong background in managing finance and investments, and is an asset to our organization.
Mike Watkins, Project Manager
With the business expanding at a rapid pace, Greg recruited Mike to give added experience with construction management. Mike was a licensed general contractor for twenty-eight years. He has done hundreds of high-end remodels and built many luxury spec homes.
OFFICE STAFF
Brown Development employs four dedicated professionals in the office that keep our office running smooth and efficient.
- Linda Garcia: Office Manager, twenty years experience in bookkeeping / development and executive assistance.
- Mary Murphy: Controller, audits and controls the income and expense. Twenty-five years experience as a broker, construction accountant.
- Cindy Lester: Full charge Bookkeeper in charge of all project reporting. Twenty years experience.
- Patricia Shannon: Retired paralegal with twenty-five years of valuable administrative experience. Keeps us organized.
